Dec. 2, 2025—Dean Middle School sixth grade student Isaiah Strait is praised by his teachers for being an exemplary student.

Accomplishments: Isaiah is an exceptional student who embodies what it means to be heroic, smart, caring and kind. He consistently goes above and beyond, not only in his schoolwork—where he demonstrates intelligence and curiosity—but also in how he treats others. Whether he is helping a classmate understand a difficult lesson, standing up for someone in need or offering a kind word, he leads by example every day.

His courage to do what’s right, even when it’s hard, makes him a quiet hero in our school community. He is always ready to lend a hand, listen with empathy and bring positive energy to any room. Isaiah makes our school a better place.

Ambition: “I want to be an NFL player when I grow up.”

What topics/things are you passionate about?: “I am passionate about anything I like because I want to give my best opinion on the matter.”

What three things can’t you live without?: “My mom because without her I would not be born, YouTube because I would be very bored without it and my friends because without them, school would not be the same.”
